Interns of LMS
Mark Vasapollo
Larsen Industries is manning the New Era.
Many of our followers know that Larsen Industries works closely with Florida Tech. One important part of our relationship is that we have internships available for Florida Tech students. So, each semester students in all degree programs are given the opportunity to apply for hands-on internships at a real race shop. There is a difficult interview process that the students go through, much like what they will experience once they leave school and go into industry.
Once they secure their positions at LI, they are then able to work on a multitude of projects with LI and our partners. Students get real world experience while still being in school!
Mark is one of our Aerospace Engineering student interns. Mark has worked on various projects at LI and claims that, “The hands-on skills that I have learned here are invaluable for my future career in industry”.
Tooling the New Era
Tooling the New Era
Providing Physical Tools to Aid
Larsen Industries is Tooling the New Era.
Larsen Industries is working hard to help the New Era develop skills that they can use in any industry that they decide to go into. Tooling is all about providing students with the necessary tools to get the job done. Here at LI we have a wide variety of tools that students have the ability to use, with our help and guidance. We believe that with the proper resources, students can accomplish anything that they put their minds to, so giving them access to these tools is especially important to us.

The CNC Machine was donated to Larsen Motorsports by Collins Aerospace. This contribution has allowed us to train interns in a technical setting that has inspired many students to pursue careers in the manufacturing industry. Not only are students creating parts that are actually going to be used, but they are also working with heavy duty machinery and developing important skills along the way.

Larsen Industries is innovating the New Era.
We have been working diligently to transition our company into an innovative space for our employees and interns. We have taken so many steps in the right direction from various foam integration to our current digitally twinned designs that will allow for further research and concept integration. We are proud to showcase the innovation in every aspect of our company through this next segment.
